With the introduction of the touch screen iPhone, have many predicting that mainstream electronics controlled by gestures and voices will be incorporated into many home by next year. TV maker Hitachi is trying to become the first major brand to sell TV’s that respond to gesture commands. Many suggest that “consumers will be able to sit in a chair 10 feet from a TV and wave a hand to change the channel or during a Power Point presentation you could rotate your hand clockwise to raise the volume on a laptop across the room.”
